The California International Marathon (CIM) is an annual road marathon held in California. Established in 1983, the race is organized by the Sacramento Running Association.
The net downhill course starts at Folsom Dam, passes through suburban Sacramento, and ends at the State Capitol in Sacramento.

Important Points
- Baggage / Gear check-in: Gear check services are available during operating hours at the CIM Expo and during Bus Loading at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. No gear check services are offered at the start line
- Pacers are available.
- There would be aid stations located along the course providing water, sports drinks, medical personnel, and portable toilets. Limited aid stations would also serve Energy Gels and fruit
- Time limit: The marathon course route re-opens at a 6-hour finish time (13:44 minutes/mile pace). No race services (fluid stations, mile splits, traffic controls) will be available on the course for runners progressing slower than the 13:44 minute/mile pace.
- Bib Pick up: All participants must pick up their event-issued bib number, technical shirt and Participant Bag at the CIM Expo. Participant packets, bags or shirts are not mailed out and there is NO race day packet pick-up. A representative with proper documentation can pick up the bib on participant’s behalf
