It has a USATF-certified course, is USATF sanctioned, and is also a Boston Marathon qualifier race. The event includes a marathon, a mini-marathon (half marathon), and various runs/walks ranging from 200 meters to 1 mile for kids, families, and adaptive division.

Part of the Utah Grand Slam, the St George Marathon is adjudged one of the World’s 10 most scenic marathons by Runner’s World magazine. It also has huge on-ground volunteer support and is deemed the Most Organized Marathon.

  1. For 2023, are there age categories 70-year-old range or divisions such as “Greyhounds” and “Clydesdales”.

    1. Hi Frank,

No such senior age category divisions are available. There are weight divisions and wheelchair/assisted racer divisions.

All other runners are placed in age-wise divisions but there aren’t special senior age divisions like greyhounds or clydesdales.
