The Munnar Marathon is an annual race event held in Munnar, a town in Idukki District of Kerala. The event is organized by Kestrel Adventures and Holidays Pvt. Ltd. and was conceived with the dual aim of making Munnar a prominent fixture in the Sport Tourism industry as well as to introduce the concept of healthy living & encourage the youth of Munnar to lead more active lives.
Munnar Marathon purports sustainability and has been conducted using sustainable practices to protect the environment. The organizers try to be as carbon neutral as possible.
The event has an ultra marathon, a marathon, half marathon as well as a 7km fun run catering to all age groups and fitness levels.

Important Points
1. Aid stations and Medical help will be placed throughout the race.
2. Time limits: There is an upper limit applicable for the Ultra Marathon (12 hours), Marathon (8 hours), Half Marathon (5 hours) and 7K (2 hours)
