The KLM Aruba Marathon is an annual road race held in Aruba. It is an AIMS/ World Athletics certified race which is also a Boston Qualifier. It is also one of the qualifying Marathons for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Championships.
With 4 different races organized over 2 days, there is a suitable distance available for all runners.

Prize Money
Information about the prize money for the Aruba Marathon 2027 is detailed below
- Top Overall Winners: The overall top 3 male and top 3 female finishers of all distances will be honored on stage with a Special Cup Award
- Record-Breaking Reward: Any male or female runner who breaks the Aruba Marathon record of 02:37:13 and wins the overall title will receive a USD 2,500 cash prize
- Aruban Champions: The fastest Aruban male and female in the marathon distance will each win a KLM return ticket and guaranteed Marathon entry to the sold-out Amsterdam Marathon ( this will be reconfirmed at an later stage)
- Age Group Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category for both men and women:
Gold– 1st place
Silver– 2nd place
Bronze– 3rd place

Important Points
- Registration: Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
- Aid stations will be placed throughout the course.
- Baggage check in available.
- Distance: If runner is registered for the Marathon they may finish as a Half Marathoner. No registered Half Marathon participant will be scored as a Full-marathon finisher if he/she chooses to do the Full marathon. They will be considered a bandit runner.
- Bib Collection: Runners must show a photo ID to pick-up your race packet. If participants need to have someone else pick up their packet, they must provide them with a copy of participant photo ID and conformation of their registration. If runner is arriving late in Aruba, please inform the organization by email. No Race day Pick up is allowed.
- Non allowable: NO skateboards, bikes, dogs or in-line skates will be allowed on the course.
- Stroller: Running/ Walking with a stroller is allowed in 5K and 10K distance events
- Add-ons: Dri-fit tee-shirts/ singlets and Pasta party tickets need to be opted in and paid for at time of registration
- Time limits: There are time limits applicable (see below).
