The Kangra Hills Ultra Marathon is an ultramarathon held in Kangra, in Himachal Pradesh. This annual event is held in Kangra Valley in the month of Feb/March providing not only perfect weather conditions but also breathtaking views for the runners. The race starts near the historic Kangra Fort and takes the participants through heritage points in the valley like the ancient Bagalamukhi Temple, Bajreshwari Mata Temple and the 8th-century rock-cut Masroor Temples,
The Kangra Hills Ultra Marathon provides both seasoned ultra runners and newcomers a unique cultural and athletic experience.
The run is organized in collaboration with Himachal Tourism to showcase Kangra’s unique charm and highlight Kangra’s historical and religious significance through the marathon.
Marathon event has a 100K Ultra, a 75K ultra, a 50K ultra along with 25K,10K and a 5K fun run providing varied distances to cater to all age groups and capabilities.

Important Points
1. Registration: Please check cancellation/ refund policy below :-
- Upto 45 Days BEFORE the event: Refunds allowed against cancellation: Deductibles- Payment Gateway fees, Applicable Taxes, and INR 100 platform usage fees
- 45 – 20 Days BEFORE the event: Refunds allowed against cancellation: Deductibles- Payment Gateway fees, Applicable Taxes, and INR 500 platform usage fees
- LESS THAN 20 Days BEFORE the event: No cancellation allowed.
2. Hydration stations will be placed throughout the race at every 8 km providing refueling to participants, the Hydration station would have water bottles, energy drinks, bananas, oranges, dates, and chocolate bars
3. Cut off time: All races have cut-off times applicable as follows – 100K (intermediary ~ 50km/10hrs and Final 100km/20 hrs), 75K (intermediary ~ 50km/10hrs and Final 75km/14 hrs), 50K (10 hrs) and 25K (4 hrs).
4. Compulsory items: Hydration Bag, Running gear per winter, and Headlight for 75 & 100 km runners
