The TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon is an annual marathon held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the month of October. The event includes a full marathon, a half marathon, and a 5 km race. Since it was established in 2000, the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon has become an elite-level marathon and is one of the IAAF Gold Label marathons in North America. The TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon has successfully raised millions of dollars for charity since its inception.
The title sponsorship, earlier held by Scotiabank, has recently been taken over by TCS who is now the official sponsor for the event.

**Canadian Marathon Championship awards are only open to Canadian citizens and Athletics Canada registered athletes. Minus 50% for slower than 2:15:00 & 2:35:00 (Men & Women) and minus 75% for slower than 2:18:00 & 2:40:00 (Men & Women).

Important Points

- Registration fees are non-refundable and non-deferrable for another year.
- Registration protection insurance can be purchased at time of registration. Any claims related to the RegShield registration protection insurance can be filed here
- If participant is unable to pick up race kit on their own, they can send a representative with their original Race Roster Registration Confirmation Email OR a text, e-mail, or hand-written note that states they are allowing the representative to pick up the race kit on their behalf. Any person can pick up a maximum of 3 race kits.
- Only clear drawstring kit bags are allowed to be checked in. Bag check in only at Nathan Phillips Square
There would be different starting corrals depending on expected finishing time submitted. - There would be water station & aid stations along the course at approximately every 3km. GU gels would also be available at limited aid stations.
- Maximum number of participants for each race category are as under:
- Marathon: 5000 participants
- Half Marathon : 11000 participants
- 5K: 8000 participants
- For the safety of all participants, baby backpacks, skateboards, roller blades, Kangoo Jump shoes, animals and unauthorized bicycles & wheeled devices are not permitted in the race. Baby Strollers are welcome in the 5K event only.
- Time limit applicable on the course for after which the course is thrown open to normal traffic.
- Marathon –6 hrs
- Half Marathon – 3 hrs 30 min
- 5K- 1 hr 20 min
