Sarmang Dehradun Marathon is an AIMS-certified annual road race in Dehradun. It was initiated in 2021 by Sarmang Adventure Tours with a vision to develop Dehradun as a marathon and adventure sports hub.
Sarmang Dehradun Marathon is an associate member of AIMS and the route course of Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K are certified by World Athletics.
Dehradun is located in the Doon Valley and has a lovely weather and scenic mountains which makes for a good marathon route for the Sarmang Dehradun Marathon. With its race slogan “Daud Laga, Pehchan bana” OR “Run!! Make a mark”, the SDM offers the following race categories:

The First edition of the Sarmang Dehradun Marathon to be held in 2021 was canceled due to the pandemic.
Important Points
- Registration Fee is non-refundable & registrations are non-transferable.
- Timing certificate/link to timing certificate for Marathon & Half Marathon needs to be uploaded while registering for the race.
- Hydration and toilet facilities are available.
- Time limits are applicable for all the races after which the course would be open for regular vehicular traffic.
- 6 hrs 30 min for Full Marathon
- 3 hrs 15 min for Half Marathon
- 2hr 15min for 10km run
- 1hr 30min for 5km run
- 1hr 30min for Doon run (2k run)
