MG Vadodara Marathon – 2025 Registration & 2024 Results

Inaugurated in 2009 with a little over 30000 runners in its first edition, the MG Vadodara International Marathon has grown only in size but also in popularity with nearly 100000 participants in its 2019 edition!

Not only is the MG Vadodara International Marathon an AAFI and AIMS accredited marathon but it also garners support from both the Sports Authority of India and the Sports Authority of Gujarat making it a national sports event that attracts runners from all over India as well as across the world.

While the MG Vadodara International Marathon has its motto of “Sports, Seva, Swacchata”, it also adopts a social or civic cause to promote in each of its editions. For. E.g. in 2019, Organ Donation was a cause they promoted with a focus on the theme “Health Beyond Fitness”.

The MG Vadodara International Marathon offers both Timed Runs and Fun Runs to cater to runners of all ages and abilities. The timed runs include the Full Marathon, the Half Marathon, the 10Km Run as well as a Half Marathon Relay. The fun runs include 5Km Swachhata Run, 5K NGO Pledge Run, 1K Jawan Run, and 1Km Divyang Paralympic Run among others.

Vadodara Marathon is also the recipient of the AIMS gold medal for ‘smallest city, biggest Marathon’.

Important Points

1. 1. Participant should upload a valid and legible photo ID Card (Aadhaar / Driving License / PAN / Voter ID Card / Student ID card/ Passport) during registration.
   2. Water, energy drinks, and other refreshments would be available on the route/course. Water and refreshments are available to all runners post-race finish.
   3. Medical and washroom facilities would also be available on the route/course as well at start point/ finish line of the race.
   4. Pacers would be available for Full Marathon & Half Marathon.
   5. Runners would be segregated into Corrals dependent on their old race timings submitted.
   6. Time limits are applicable for all the races after which the course would be open for regular vehicular traffic.
      • Full Marathon: 6 hr
      • Half Marathon: 3 hr 30 min
      • 10km run: 1hr 30min
      • 5km run: 45 min
      • Fun run: No time limit
