The Flying Pig Marathon is an annual marathon event usually held on the first Sunday of May in Cincinnati, Ohio. First organized in 1999, it was Founded by Robert J. Coughlin and is now the 3rd-largest first-time marathon in the United States of America. Over the years, more events have been added to the marathon race and now over 9-10 events take place over the weekend to include people with disabilities, children as well as dogs. It is a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon.

Fifty West Mile
- 1st Place: $600

Marathon:
- Overall prizes are awarded to the top 3 men and women determined by gun time.
- Age group awards go to the top three in each age group and are determined by chip time.
- Old Spice High Endurance mile to the finish. Awards will be given to the top male and female in the different age groups for the fastest final mile
- Charmin’s Fastest Split Time: Awards will be given to the male and female with the best time in first half of the marathon.
- Age groups are as follows: 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards.
Marathon Relay:
- Overall prizes are awarded to the top 2 male, female and co-ed teams determined by chip time.
- Fastest relay leg: Awards will be given to the top male and female in each leg of the relay, determined by chip time (only all male or female teams eligible for this award).
Half Marathon:
- Overall prizes are awarded to the top 3 men and women determined by gun time.
- Age group awards go to the top three in each age group and are determined by chip time.
- Age groups are as follows: 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards.

Important Points
- Registrations are non-refundable
- Race distance switch: Participants may switch race distances. Switches can be made by contacting registration@flyingpigmarathon.com and paying a switching fee plus any applicable entry fee difference.
- Registration transfer: Participants may transfer their registration to someone else by contacting registration@flyingpigmarathon.com. A transfer fee would be charged to the new participant
- Bib Pick up: Participants unable to pick up their own race packet may have someone else pick up their packet for them. The person picking up your packet must have a filled-out copy of the Packet Pickup Authorization Form and a copy of your photo ID to be shown to our volunteers handing out race packets. Race day packet pick-up for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, or 4-Person Open Relay is not available, and race packets cannot be mailed prior to the race.
- Wheelchair entrants must wear helmets at all times. Due to logistical and safety issues, we are not currently able to accommodate hand-crank chairs.
- Baggage claim: Baggage claim on Saturday will only be available to Skyline Chili Challenge participants. Gear Check/Baggage Claim is available for Sunday participants near the start line.
- Corrals: Runners would be placed in corrals and released in waves. Corral assignments will be determined based on your expected finish time specified in your registration.
- Pacers are available.
- There would be aid stations located along the course providing water, isotonic drinks, gels (limited stations only), washroom and medical facilities
- Participant tracking: The PigWorks Events mobile app, driven by Total Quality Logistics, is available to download from your iTunes store or Google Play. Participant tracking is available for participants of the full marathon, half marathon, relays, 10K and 5K.
