The Rotary Rain Run Goa, inaugurated in 2015 by the Rotary Charitable Trust of Porvorim in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Porvorim, has evolved into one of India’s premier monsoon marathons. Over the years, it has significantly contributed to women’s health and education initiatives, funding health campaigns and educational scholarships. The event’s international acclaim is highlighted by its membership in the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and its course certification by World Athletics
The Rotary Rain Run offers various race categories to accommodate participants of all fitness levels:
- Half Marathon (Timed) with a challenging route for seasoned runners.
- 10 km Run (Timed) which is suitable for intermediate runners seeking a substantial challenge.
- 5 km Dream Run ideal for beginners or those preferring a shorter distance.
- 2 km Fun Walk which is perfect for families and casual participants.
- 2 km Seniority Walk specifically designed for participants aged 50 and above.
The race course traverses scenic, sea-facing roads of Bambolim and Dona Paula. Participants pass notable landmarks, including the Miramar Circle, offering picturesque views of Goa’s coastal landscape.

Important Points
- BIB Collection: If someone is collecting Bibs on behalf of other participants, they must present a consent letter from the registered participants in order to receive the Bibs. No Bib collection on event/ race day
- Aid Stations : Hydration and medical aid will be available at regular intervals on the race route.
- Washroom Facilities: Washrooms will be accessible at the start/finish area.
- Post-Race Refreshments: After crossing the finish line, participants will have access to post-race refreshments.
- Time Limits: Time limits are applicable – all races need to get over by 9:00am
