Fall Equinox Marathon is one of the 2 races organized on the Scenic country roads in Fort Collins, Colorado. While the Fall Equinox Marathon is held in September, the Spring Equinox Half Marathon is held in the month of March.

Held on the Autumnal equinox during the height of fall color, the Fall Equinox Marathon race features the beautiful scenery of Colorado as participants run downhill on a point-to-point course along the Cache La Poudre River. It starts at the famed Mishawaka & runs entirely in the Poudre River Canyon.

Both the Fall Equinox Marathon and the Spring Equinox Half Marathon events are “Green Events” races providing an athletic event in an environmental, social, and economic sustainable manner.

The Equinox events partner with local non-profit groups and organizations that provide the volunteers needed to make the race run smoothly for the participants. The event donates proceeds from the race to local groups to support them in their work, charitable causes, passions, and growth.
